INTRO to BUSH ‘41’ and BUSH ‘43’ (Part
1)
An Astrologically Tumultuous Time For Everyone
The astrological charts of the two Presidents Bush (each
of whom have dealt with IRAQ), have strong interplanetary
connections – between father and son, between each President
and Saddam (see
chart). Also, each President’s chart connects in
intricate ways with the charts and the chart of when Saddam
he took power (see
chart).
Many people are questioning what the true relationship is
between the father, a SUN SIGN GEMINI (see
chart) and the son, a SUN SIGN CANCER (see
chart). There is also speculation whether the Senior Bush
(and more of his advisors) can help extricate the U.S. from
an untenable situation. Astrology provides clues, a few of
which are introduced in this article.
Most of us, not just the President and his Administration,
have been going through shake-ups and transformations. It
will take quite a while for this process to unfold.
The astrological saying, “as above so below”,
indicates that planetary motions in the sky parallel or reflect
events in our lives here on earth. As astrological background,
it is important to review some of the major and complex patterns
which have set up our current condition in the world and which
will continue to indicate dramatic change.
The planet MERCURY has been in RETROGRADE motion in the intense
and power oriented sign of SCORPIO since October 28th, and
will go DIRECT on November 17th. When MERCURY is in (appears
to be) RETROGRADE, communications are more confused and unreliable.
Whatever is initiated either repeats a previous pattern and/or
necessitates that a new plan be provisional so that it can
be modified when MERCURY goes DIRECT. This has been a time
when much can also be studied deeply in order to revise problems
of the past.
No one was taking this Election lightly. The recent U.S.
Elections occurred during this RETROGRADE MERCURY (accompanied
by four other planets in SCORPIO).
The planet NEPTUNE (planet of ideals, and as well as confusion
and deception) moved into DIRECT motion on the exactly same
day, October 28th, that MERCURY went RETROGRADE. That combination
alone might be enough to make someone feel a bit nuts.
URANUS (rebellious planet of surprises, sudden changes, disruptions,
break-ups and break-downs) will move from RETROGRADE motion
in the sign of PISCES to DIRECT motion on November 20th. More
surprises lie ahead.
Lastly, for a large part of this year, there has been a T-SQUARE
pattern of NEPTUNE in AQUARIUS, JUPITER in SCORPIO, and SATURN
in LEO. All three signs – AQUARIUS, SCORPIO and LEO
are FIXED SIGNS. Planets in FIXED signs do not adjust easily
to other forces, but remain entrenched in their positions.
Therefore this planetary pattern has resulted in an on-going
and intractable situation in areas such as the on-going battle
in IRAQ.
JUPITER and SATURN (considered strong indicators of the Body
Politic and the Economy) were conjoined in TAURUS in 2000
when this President Bush was first elected. Now, JUPITER and
SATURN are in the “opening” SQUARE (challenging
positions to each other.) President Bush has been dealing
with the struggle represented by the expansive energy of JUPITER
and the restrictive energy of SATURN.
JUPITER will move out of this tri-part pattern and into its
own sign of SAGITARRIUS on November 23rd, which should give
hope to some solutions.
